Brand: Ultimea
#9 Ultimea Skywave X100: $998.99 Amazon $998.99 eBay
Pros: A 9.1.6 system with a 10 inch wireless sub and wireless rears, delivering deep, tight bass and plenty of overhead effects for movies and games. The Hook Up picked it for big bass on a budget in its premium shootout. It also stays less harsh on music than many big Atmos systems.
Cons: The tuning favors movies and games, so music lacks the refinement of systems like Sonos Arc Ultra. Reviewers found it impressive but short of a true home theater. Ultimea is a newer brand with a shorter support record than the major names.
