#14 TCL S55H: $139.00 Amazon $139.00 eBay
Pros: The S55H adds a wireless subwoofer to the bar from the TCL S45H, so movies and music gain the low end that the bar alone lacks. The tuning is reasonably balanced, and it plays loud without squashing the sound. It decodes Atmos over eARC and offers aux and Bluetooth too.
Cons: Surround and height effects are weak and the soundstage stays narrow, so it sounds like a front stereo pair with bass. High frequencies are slightly muffled. Audio lag over eARC is high, which can matter for gaming.
