Pros: A 5.1.2 bar with up-firing drivers and a wireless sub that digs deep, so action scenes have real weight. Dialogue comes through very clearly, which suits viewers who mainly want TV and movies to be easier to follow. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an HDMI input round out the connections.
Cons: There are no rear speakers in the box, so surround effects stay in front of you unless you add Samsung’s optional rears. The height effect is modest compared with full systems like Samsung HW-Q990F. Its HDMI input passes only 4K at 60Hz, which limits newer game consoles.
