Pros: A bar with a real wireless sub that suits both TV and music, with clear dialogue and a wide front stage. It decodes Atmos and DTS:X, passes HDMI 2.1 video, and adds Wi-Fi streaming with AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Spotify Connect plus room calibration.
Cons: Without rear speakers the height effect only works for sounds in front, and RTINGS found Samsung Q800 bars such as the Samsung HW-Q800F wrap the room with Atmos far better. The sub can overpower the mid-range at times. Rear speakers are an extra purchase.
