#22 Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus: $189.99 Amazon $189.99 eBay
Pros: The Fire TV Soundbar Plus adds a center channel, which helps dialogue stand out, and it decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X from an eARC TV. The sound is wide and crisp, which suits news, sports and TV shows. It can grow into a fuller system with the matching subwoofer and rear speakers.
Cons: On its own the bass is thin, so films lack weight until the optional sub is added. The tuning is bright and can turn shrill or harsh at higher volume, and one major review found the cheaper Amazon Fire TV Soundbar more balanced. With no up-firing drivers, Atmos adds no overhead effect.
