The NuQ102 is passive and flexible on amplification. Its coaxial point-source design gives symmetric 100° x 60° coverage, and needing an external amplifier and crossover keeps DSP and power choices in the installer’s hands. Even on low-quality vendor data it still returns a 5.0 ideal-subwoofer preference score with 63Hz measured extension, though its 124dB peak claim trails every active speaker in this size class since it has no amplifier of its own to push output higher.
The KX 10-A is RCF’s entry point into its flagship KX point-source range. It is fully active, with a neodymium woofer, a claimed 130dB peak, and RCF’s FiRPHASE processing, Bass Motion Control and onboard presets, plus RDNet networked control over EtherCON.
