The DDQ15 measures well ahead. Its vendor data returns a 5.79 ideal-subwoofer preference score, among the best in this size class, with 42Hz measured extension, from a Faital Pro woofer, BMS compression driver and biamped Hypex Class-D modules running a 24-bit Sharc DSP, genuine touring-class engineering. The PRX915’s own high-quality data shows a 4.77 preference score with a shallower 51Hz extension, and its cons note it specifically trails the smaller PRX912 on measured preference.
The PRX915 has the wider support network and app control. It carries a 12-band parametric EQ with dbx DriveRack feedback suppression and Bluetooth control through JBL’s Pro Connect app, backed by JBL’s extensive service network. The DDQ15’s own cons acknowledge LD Systems has a smaller professional-audio service network than JBL, Yamaha or RCF in North America, and its rotatable HF horn’s 80° x 50° pattern is on the narrower side for wide-audience main use against the PRX915’s 90° x 50°.

Frequency Response Compared
