JBL Charge 6 vs Treblab HD77

Short answer: the JBL Charge 6, since the Treblab HD77 is short on bass. The HD77 pairs with a second unit for wider stereo, adds an aux input and a mic, and runs about 20 hours at low to medium volume, but it is lacking quite a bit of bass compared to higher ranked speakers and you cannot disable its flashing lights. The Charge 6 is more neutral than the Charge 5, though it still has boosted bass, recessed mids and brightness above 2kHz.

Buy the JBL Charge 6. It is rated higher for sound quality, and the $79.98 you would save on the Treblab HD77 does not close the gap.

Pros: Seems more neutral than the Charge 5. Flatter frequency response through the mids and treble as the Charge 5 was quite rolled off up high. Use this EQ from Joy/Oluv and turn down the lowest bass slider for the best sound quality. Oluv has even more paid EQs specifically for the GG and TL models indoors and outdoors here. IP68 protection, a 7-band app EQ, Auracast, USB-C charging and a power bank output. Measured bass extension of 53Hz (-10dB).

Cons: Still some boosted bass by default. Mids are recessed. Bright above 2kHz. Quite a V shaped frequency response.
