Short answer: the JBL Partybox Club 120. It ranks #4 of 44 party speakers at $349.95; the Electro-Voice Everse 12 ranks #9 and costs $1099, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
The case for the Electro-Voice Everse 12: Good midrange and treble. The tradeoff: Not stereo.
What the JBL Partybox Club 120 gets right: Handle and wheels are convenient. The catch: High price.
Buy the Electro-Voice Everse 12 if the price matters more than the ranking. Buy the JBL Partybox Club 120 if the ranking matters more than the price.
