Our own notes are direct here too: the Rockster Neo isn’t quite as good sounding as the Everse 12. That tracks with the specs - the Everse 12 is rated at 400W against the Rockster Neo’s 200W, and it uses the same high-efficiency compression-driver design our notes call the best-sounding extremely loud speaker we’ve covered, reaching 2-3x the volume of a typical speaker at the same wattage.
The Rockster Neo counters with battery life and price. 36 hours (56 in Eco Mode) against the Everse 12’s 12-plus, at roughly three-quarters of the cost. Both take real XLR-level input for microphones and instruments, and the Rockster Neo’s IP44 rating is a step up from the Everse 12’s IP43 - though neither is meant to get properly wet.
Buy the Everse 12 if output and sound quality matter more than price. Buy the Rockster Neo if you’d rather spend less and get a battery that lasts through an entire weekend.

Pros: Similar tuning to the other Teufel speakers - pretty good, but not top of class.
Cons: Not quite as good sounding as the JBL Partybox 330 or Electro-Voice Everse 12. Bass isn’t as deep as the JBL Partybox 330 or even the JBL Partybox 130.

Pros: Good midrange and treble. The best sounding extremely loud speaker available. High efficiency drivers reach 2-3x the volume of typical speakers for the same wattage.
