Pros: A compact 12 inch sealed cube subwoofer with balanced and speaker level inputs, aimed at small rooms. It has a 12-inch driver and a 425W RMS amplifier, with a rated response of 22 to 150Hz. Measured output averages 110.9dB from 40 to 80Hz, enough for a small room. SVS suggests it for rooms under 2500 cubic feet, and it has XLR, RCA and speaker-level inputs.
Cons: Sealed output falls to 97.4dB at 25Hz, 89.8dB at 20Hz and 87.8dB at 15Hz, so deep movie effects are weak. It is expensive for its measured output. It is discontinued and succeeded by the SVS SB-2000, so it must be bought used, and at 18.1 kg it is heavy for a 343mm cube.
