Pros: A giant ported 17 inch subwoofer that digs extremely deep and plays earth shaking movie bass in large rooms. Independent CEA-2010 testing in Standard Mode records 113.9dB at 20Hz and 119.4dB through 40 to 80Hz. A dual voice coil 17 inch driver, triple 4 inch ports and a 2800W RMS amplifier provide the output. Response is rated 15 to 320Hz within 3dB, and Extended Mode reaches down to 12Hz.
Cons: At 75.7 kg, or 167 lbs, with recessed feet that leave little clearance, moving or repositioning this cabinet is a two-person job at minimum. The cabinet is about 51 cm tall and 54 cm deep, so it needs a lot of room. Output falls off below the port tuning, with 90.7dB at 12.5Hz. It is expensive.
