Pros: A compact 8 inch subwoofer with a passive radiator and REL’s speaker level connection, aimed at music systems. It has a 200W RMS amplifier and measures 112.2dB average from 40 to 80Hz. It stays composed at high volume and has little overhang. It connects through a Speakon speaker level input as well as line level.
Cons: Output drops to 93.9dB at 25Hz and 74.0dB at 20Hz, so it adds little below about 30Hz and is rated only to 30Hz at -6dB. The 8-inch driver limits headroom for large rooms. It is discontinued and succeeded by a newer model, so buying means finding it used.
