#50 Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30FSE: $4,995 Discontinued eBay
Older model: the Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV30F (ranked lower, rated 4.2/5). See every Power Sound Audio XV generation.
Pros: A tall dual 15 inch ported subwoofer with strong deep bass for large home theaters, now discontinued. Published CEA-2010 specifications list 114.7 dB at 20 Hz and 122.3 dB (avg of 3/4 bands) through 40-80 Hz. The ported, bottom enclosure with 2x 15” (381mm) driver has the headroom for demanding film bass in a large room.
Cons: The 1143.0H x 469.9W x 571.5D mm cabinet and 73.5 kg mass make this a serious placement and moving commitment. Ported output does not solve room modes, so careful placement and calibration remain essential. Discontinued.
