Brand: Power Sound Audio

#13 Power Sound Audio (PSA) XV15SEICE-BASE: $1,895 Discontinued eBay

Pros: A rear ported 15 inch subwoofer with an efficient amplifier and strong output, now discontinued but worth buying used. The 15 inch driver is powered by a 500W RMS (1000W peak) ICE amplifier and is rated 21 to 200Hz. Output averages 119.1dB from 40 to 80Hz and holds 110.6dB down at 20Hz, which is strong enough for a large room and deep movie effects. The efficient amplifier keeps the cabinet more compact than many 15 inch designs.

Cons: At 34kg and 584 x 432 x 559mm it is large and heavy, so it needs space and two people to move. The output figures come from the manufacturer, not independent testing. It is discontinued and priced high, so you have to buy used, and the specs list no app or room correction.
