#41 Outlaw Audio LFM-1 EX: $399 Discontinued eBay
Newer model: the Outlaw Audio Ultra-X12, ranked higher, rated 4.2/5, released 2014 (also discontinued). See every Outlaw Audio Subwoofers generation.
Pros: A ported 12 inch subwoofer with clean, tight bass for large rooms and excellent build for the money, now discontinued. It has a 350W RMS amplifier and measured output averages about 116dB from 40 to 80Hz, with 104dB at 20Hz. It is rated 16 to 180Hz within 2dB with one port plugged. Dual down-firing ports and quality construction suit large rooms.
Cons: Output falls to about 90dB at 15Hz, so the deepest effects are limited. The cabinet is about 578mm wide and 610mm deep and weighs 30.4kg. Down-firing ports need clearance from the floor and can add some port noise at high output. It is discontinued, so it can only be bought used.
