Pros: A 12 inch mid bass module with switchable sealed or ported tuning, built for fast, punchy upper bass rather than deep rumble. Its 12-inch light cone driver and 350W amplifier average 114.8dB from 40 to 80Hz and reach 118.1dB at 80Hz, which is strong headroom for upper bass. Sealed or ported tuning lets you trade output for control. The response is aimed at the 50 to 80Hz range.
Cons: It is not a true subwoofer, with output falling to 96.7dB at 31.5Hz and 69.7dB at 20Hz, so it will not deliver deep movie rumble. It works best paired with a deeper sub. At 21.3kg and 483mm tall it is sizable, and it is discontinued.
