Brand: BK Electronics
#179 BK Electronics XLS300/PR: £389.00 Discontinued eBay
Pros: A well made sealed 10 inch subwoofer with a black ash finish and both speaker level and line inputs. It has a 300W RMS amplifier and measures 107.9dB average CEA-2010 output from 40 to 80Hz, with a listed response of 25Hz and up. Both high and low level inputs make it flexible to connect to receivers and stereo amplifiers.
Cons: Maximum output is modest, only 92.3dB at 20Hz and 107.9dB average from 40 to 80Hz, which is limited for a large room. At 25.0kg and 349.8H x 399.8W x 380.0D mm it is heavy for a 10 inch sealed sub. It is discontinued, so buying means finding one used.
