Pros: A compact sealed 10 inch subwoofer for smaller rooms, now discontinued. It pairs a 10-inch driver with a 180W RMS amplifier and measures 113.3dB average CEA-2010 output from 40 to 80Hz. Atlantic’s Clear Filter Technology is a built-in filter aimed at keeping bass tidy. The sealed design avoids port noise and its frequency response is listed as 33-250Hz.
Cons: Output falls off quickly below 40Hz, dropping to 97.6dB at 31.5Hz and only 88.2dB at 20Hz, so it will not shake the room with the lowest movie effects. At 14.1kg it is easy to move but gives limited output for a large space. It is discontinued, so buying means finding one used.
