Pros: Delivers weighty, controlled bass and a wide, cohesive surround field from real rear speakers, which makes it a strong movie system for a mid-sized room. What Hi-Fi? and Expert Reviews each gave it five stars, and dialogue stays clear even in busy action scenes. Atmos soundtracks sound seamless and room-filling despite there being no up-firing drivers. Music is handled better than most bars at this level, and the subwoofer adapts well to lighter material.
Cons: Setup is the main trade-off: the bar is wired to a large subwoofer and the rear speakers connect through a separate receiver box, so cables are unavoidable. There is no HDMI input or passthrough, so your sources must go through the TV. Height effects are virtual rather than from up-firing drivers, the sub can fuzz when pushed hard, and there is no Wi-Fi streaming or automatic room calibration.
