Pros: In The Hook Up’s 2026 budget shootout the D40CS took the top spot ahead of the Ultimea Poseidon M60, sounding the most dynamic of the group with clean vocals. Its wired subwoofer gives tight, controlled bass rather than boom. The bar splits into two small towers, and it adds aux and modern Bluetooth.
Cons: It does not play as loud as some rivals, so large rooms may need more. The subwoofer cable is short, which limits where the sub can sit. A dip in the upper treble softens some detail, and it cannot decode Dolby, so the TV must output PCM.
