#5 Hisense AX3120Q: $249.99 Amazon $249.99 eBay

Pros: The AX3120Q brings up-firing Atmos drivers and a center channel, so dialogue stays clear and overhead effects are genuinely audible in films. Music sounds broad and open across the bar. It decodes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and offers an HDMI input with 4K HDR passthrough alongside eARC.

Cons: The wireless subwoofer is the weak link, sounding clumsy and slightly out of step with music. There is no Wi-Fi or app, so streaming is Bluetooth only. It has no rear speakers, so surround effects come only from the front.
