Pros: A cylindrical waterproof speaker with RGB lights, aux, USB and microSD playback, and stereo pairing. Rated for 20W with a driver flanked by two passive radiators, IPX7 waterproofing, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3600mAh battery rated for up to 24 hours, two hour charging, a built-in mic, a carry strap and a woven fabric body that feels solid in the hand.
Cons: In Lcn Sound Tech’s listening test the midrange dominated, treble stayed muted until about 70% volume, and the bass was dry and punchy rather than deep. It also sounded quiet for its 20W rating and distorted badly across bass, mids and treble at full volume. The tested unit arrived with something loose inside, which may have been shipping damage. It is mono, has no app or EQ, and is sold mainly through AliExpress and other overseas marketplaces rather than in Philips’ own stores.
