Pros: A two way design with a 70mm woofer and 16mm tweeter on 35W, giving crisp treble, detailed vocals, and a fairly neutral tuning on most music. IP68 waterproof with a built-in carry handle. Bluetooth 6.0 with Auracast Party Mode, Stereo Mode with a second unit, NFC tap to pair, dual device connection, and USB-C wired audio for a laptop. Custom EQ in the Nothing X app and physical controls on the speaker, plus swappable panels and knob.
Cons: Struggles with dense rock and metal at volume, where the low end gets muddy and vocals turn shrill even with Ultra Bass on. Its 18 hour battery is middling for the price, and the EarFun Uboom L costs less. No LDAC or aptX, and no charging cable in the box.
