Same family: the RCF ART 708-A MK5 (smaller model, rated 3.4/5), the RCF ART 710-A MK5 (smaller model, rated 3.6/5), the RCF ART 712-A MK5 (smaller model, ranked lower, rated 3.6/5), the RCF ART 715-A MK5 (larger model, rated 3.6/5), the RCF ART 735-A MK5 (larger model, estimated 3.4/5) and the RCF ART 745-A MK5 (larger model, rated 3.5/5).

Pros: An affordable, loud 12 inch powered PA speaker with a large compression driver for strong, clear vocals. Its large 3-inch high-frequency voice coil is a meaningful advantage for vocal headroom and a lower crossover region, while 131dB claimed output and 90° x 60° coverage fit common portable-main work. It offers much of RCF’s high-frequency hardware at a lower price than the RCF ART 932-A. Measured bass extension of 53.0Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The local low-quality vendor data does not provide a computed preference score, so its tonal ranking is provisional. Controls are basic, with no app, display or Bluetooth audio.

Frequency Response

How the RCF ART 732-A MK5 measures across the audible range. A flatter listening window (the sound arriving straight at you) is more neutral: peaks sound forward or harsh, dips sound recessed. The estimated in-room response adds what a typical room does, and there a gentle, even tilt down toward the treble is ideal. Both curves are shifted so their 300 Hz to 3 kHz average sits at 0 dB.

EQ for a Neutral Response

No EQ preset: the best simple EQ we can fit to these measurements improves the predicted preference score by less than 0.2. The listening window is already close to flat, and what holds the score back, such as narrow ripple in the response or uneven output off-axis, is not something EQ can fix without making it worse elsewhere.
