Every PA Speaker With Network Control

Last updated: September 17, 2026

19 PA speakers in our rankings support networked control, letting you adjust EQ, limiting, delay and other DSP settings, or monitor amplifier status, over an Ethernet connection instead of walking up to each cabinet. This matters most in a multi-zone venue or a permanent install with speakers mounted out of easy reach; for a single speaker at a gig, the front-panel controls are usually enough.

A speaker’s rank here reflects its measured performance, not the presence of network control. The exact protocol varies by brand (Dante, EtherCON/CANBUS, RDNet, or a manufacturer’s own app), so check that your control software or other speakers in the system actually support the same one before buying.

This is every match, grouped by size and sorted by measured performance.

Ranked #14 of 37 in 12-Inch Two-Way Powered PA Speakers - Axiom ED120A: $1,790.00 eBay

Axiom ED120A ranking card

Pros: High-quality vendor Spinorama data gives it a 4.94 ideal-subwoofer preference score and 52Hz bass extension, a solid tonal showing for a professional cabinet. CORE DSP, PRONET remote control and an asymmetric rotatable horn add useful installation flexibility. Measured bass extension of 60Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The 132dB claimed peak is competitive rather than class-leading, and the asymmetric 60°-to-100° pattern needs more deliberate aiming than a conventional symmetric horn. Availability and service coverage are less broad than the mainstream QSC, JBL, Yamaha and RCF choices.

HK Audio LINEAR 7 112 FA ranking card

Pros: High-quality manufacturer data yields a respectable 5.62 ideal-subwoofer preference score, and the networkable DSP is useful in larger systems. The 112 FA is designed as a full-range cabinet rather than the more monitor-focused XA variant. Measured bass extension of 63Hz (-3dB).

Cons: Measured bass extension is 63Hz and the value proposition depends on needing its system networking and professional rigging features. US availability is less consistent than QSC, JBL, Yamaha or RCF.

Ranked #20 of 37 in 12-Inch Two-Way Powered PA Speakers - VUE Audiotechnik h-12: $6,000.00 eBay

VUE Audiotechnik h-12 ranking card

Pros: The beryllium-diaphragm compression driver, Dante/AES connectivity and 96kHz networked DSP are genuinely premium features. Low-quality vendor data still produces a respectable 5.06 ideal-subwoofer preference score and about 63Hz bass extension. Measured bass extension of 87.5Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The 35.2kg cabinet is exceptionally heavy and its premium price is difficult to justify for portable use. The published 125dB measured peak is modest beside mainstream competitors, and the measurement directivity differs from current h-12W/h-12N literature.

PreSonus CDL12 ranking card

Pros: Its constant-directivity high-frequency array is designed for controlled coverage and scalable deployments rather than a conventional single horn. The medium-quality vendor data provides a 4.25 ideal-subwoofer preference score and 58Hz measured extension. Measured bass extension of 58Hz (-3dB).

Cons: This is a specialized, heavier cabinet whose rigging and array behavior add complexity for ordinary portable-PA buyers. The measured tonal score is modest, and availability is less consistent than the mainstream QSC, JBL, Yamaha and RCF choices.

Ranked #33 of 37 in 12-Inch Two-Way Powered PA Speakers - Amate Audio X12CLA: $4,150.00 eBay

Amate Audio X12CLA ranking card

Pros: Its medium-quality vendor Spinorama data yields a 3.57 ideal-subwoofer preference score and 58Hz bass extension. The 100° x 15° constant-curvature pattern, 132dB claimed peak output and networked DSP suit tightly controlled flown clusters. Measured bass extension of 71Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The very narrow 15° vertical pattern is specialized rather than broadly useful as a single portable main, and the 31.5kg enclosure is the heaviest cabinet near this part of the ranking. It is discontinued and expensive, while the measured tonal score trails the stronger point-source options.

Pros: Low-quality vendor data still returns a strong 5.2 ideal-subwoofer preference score with roughly 70Hz extension, continuing the h-Class’s beryllium-diaphragm compression driver and narrow, feedback-resistant 60° x 40° pattern from the h-12. Measured bass extension of 90Hz (-3dB).

Cons: At 38kg and a $6500 asking price this is among the heaviest and most expensive 15-inch boxes here, aimed at rental and touring use rather than casual portability. The low-quality measurement source limits confidence in the exact result.

Ranked #4 of 29 in 15-Inch Two-Way Powered PA Speakers - HK Audio LINEAR 7 115 FA: $1,999.00 Amazon B&H Photo Video eBay

HK Audio LINEAR 7 115 FA ranking card

Pros: High-quality vendor data returns a 5.15 ideal-subwoofer preference score with 60Hz measured extension. MILAN/AVB networking, a 10-band parametric EQ and a rotatable constant-directivity horn make it a systems-oriented choice for professional deployment. Measured bass extension of 60Hz (-3dB).

Cons: At 32kg this is a heavy 15-inch cabinet, and buyers who do not need networked audio may find comparable performance in simpler mainstream models. The 60° x 40° pattern is narrower than several rivals.

Ranked #25 of 29 in 15-Inch Two-Way Powered PA Speakers - DAS Audio Vantec 15A: $1,818.99 B&H Photo Video eBay

DAS Audio Vantec 15A ranking card

Pros: Medium-quality vendor data shows 52Hz measured extension, and its 90° x 50° coverage and 135dB claimed peak carry over the Vantec 12A’s Class-D amplification and Bluetooth control into a 15-inch cabinet. Measured bass extension of 56Hz (-3dB).

Cons: The 2.49 ideal-subwoofer preference score is one of the lower results in this ranking, well below the Vantec 12A’s own measured result. At 25.5kg it is meaningfully heavier than the 12-inch model.
