#24 Amate Audio X82FD Estimated eBay
Same family: the Amate Audio X10FD (smaller model, estimated 3.6/5), the Amate Audio X102FD (larger model, rated 3.6/5) and the Amate Audio X14FD (larger model, rated 3.6/5).
Pros: A self-powered model from Amate’s Xcellence range alongside the measured Amate Audio X102FD and Amate Audio X14FD: two 8” woofers and a 3” compression driver driven by 3,000W, for long throws from a narrow cabinet. Amate rates it at 137dB peak with 80° x 60° coverage, and it has Dante networking and touchscreen DSP control.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so it can’t be compared with ranked PA speakers. Amate sells through dealers, so there is no retail price. Bass stops around 68Hz (-10dB), so it needs a subwoofer for full-range music.
