#239 THIEAUDIO x Elise Audio Vera: $619.00 Elise Audio $619.00 eBay

Pros: A tribrid IEM at about $619 with a dynamic woofer, two Knowles armatures and two Sonion electrostats, and a preference score of 78 across two measurements. Bass is lifted about 2 dB with full sub bass, and the response has no peak or dip larger than 3.7 dB.

Cons: Presence is 1.9 dB low with a 3.7 dB dip near 4.9 kHz, so vocals sit very slightly back. At 15 ohms and 101 dB it needs a bit more volume than most IEMs.

Frequency Response

How the THIEAUDIO x Elise Audio Vera measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the average of 2 independent measurements, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
