Last updated: October 10, 2026

Coverage note. Speaker Ranking currently covers 2 Thieaudio models across headphones. These are the products in our database, not a complete list of everything Thieaudio makes.

What this page covers. The Thieaudio models ranked here span headphones, including ThieAudio Monarch MKII and ThieAudio Legacy 2. Use each model’s category position to compare it with alternatives of the same size and use case.

This page lists all 2 Thieaudio speakers ranked on this site across headphones. Each model is shown in the category where it competes, with its current rank and the size of that ranking.

Use the category position rather than the brand name alone: speakers from the same manufacturer can perform very differently by size, price and product family.

ThieAudio Monarch MKII ranking card

Pros: A preference score of 81 from crinacle’s measurement and just 1.45 dB of deviation make it one of the most accurate in-ears available. Across 19 hobbyist measurements on squig.link, sub-bass and bass sit within half a dB of target down to 20 Hz, so kick drums and synth bass have full, tight weight. Its 108 dB/mW sensitivity and 36 ohm impedance mean a phone drives it easily, and the hybrid layout combines a dynamic woofer, six balanced armatures and two electrostatic tweeters.

Cons: Those measurements show a 5.6 dB dip near 6.5 kHz and treble about 2.6 dB below target, which softens cymbal attack slightly. Air above 10 kHz rises about 3.4 dB over target, peaking near 11.8 kHz, which listeners sensitive to treble may hear as a touch of glare.

Ranked #27 of 115 in In-Ear Headphones - ThieAudio Legacy 2 AliExpress eBay

ThieAudio Legacy 2 ranking card

Pros: Crinacle’s measurement gives it a preference score of 75, and the median of 13 squig.link measurements keeps sub-bass, bass, low mids and upper mids within 0.7 dB of target, so vocals and instruments sound clean and correctly weighted. The hybrid pairing of a 10mm dynamic driver with a balanced armature holds deep bass to 20 Hz, and 108 dB sensitivity at 32 ohms makes it easy to drive from a phone.

Cons: Presence runs about 2.9 dB and air about 3.4 dB below target, with a 6.8 dB dip near 11.9 kHz, so cymbals lack some sparkle and the top end feels slightly reserved. A 4.4 dB peak near 10.3 kHz just below that dip makes the upper treble a little uneven.
