#909 Kinera Celest Phoenixcall 2.0: $169.00 Amazon $169.00 eBay
Pros: A tribrid with a coaxial dual dynamic driver, two balanced armatures and two planar drivers whose response stays close to target, at 2.4 dB deviation, with sub bass extending fully to 20 Hz. Bass sits about 2 dB above target for a slightly fuller low end, and 11 ohm impedance with 108 dB sensitivity runs well from a phone dongle.
Cons: Upper bass is almost 4 dB above target, which thickens the sound, and presence sits about 3 dB low with a dip near 3.7 kHz, so voices sound a little recessed. A 5 dB peak near 11.5 kHz adds some sparkle that can turn sharp, and the score rests on three measurements; the Truthear Nova scores much higher for the same money.

- Reviews, Comparisons and Sound Samples
Frequency Response
How the Kinera Celest Phoenixcall 2.0 measures across the audible range, against the Harman in-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is the median of 3 independent measurements, so one odd sample or rig cannot skew it, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
Measurement data: median of 3 measurements from the squig.link databases of digaoreviews, flare and jaytiss. Thanks to each of them for publishing their work.
