High-quality vendor data gives it a 5.66 ideal-subwoofer preference score, and networked 10-band parametric EQ, delay and filtering support sophisticated system tuning through its rotatable horn and monitor-capable enclosure. Its measured 82Hz bass extension makes a subwoofer important for music, its 131dB peak claim is lower than several similarly priced competitors, and at 46.3 lbs (21 kg) it’s manageable but not especially light.
The DXR12mkIII raises claimed output and adds app control, but its own measurement is unconfirmed.
