Short answer: the Soundcore Boom 2. It ranks #10 of 78 large speakers by sound quality; the W-King T9 ranks #38 and costs $30.01 more, so there isn’t much of a tradeoff to weigh here.
The T9’s cons are more audible than the Boom 2’s. The T9’s own cons describe peaks in the upper mids that make it sound a bit harsh, a tonal flaw with no EQ on board to fix it (the T9 has no app and no EQ at all). The Boom 2 ships with its own issues too, including a bright treble tuning around +5dB and inconsistent bass at low volume, but its cons note that with Oluv’s or Alan Ross’s EQ presets applied, it corrects to a meaningfully higher-ranking sound; stock tuning alone would only put it around the middle of the pack.
There’s a real gap in water resistance. The Boom 2 is rated IPX7 for brief submersion, while the T9 has no water resistance rating at all, worth knowing if either speaker is headed to a pool or beach.
What the W-King T9 adds: an aux input, a built-in microphone, MicroSD playback, and true stereo output from its dual 4.04-inch subwoofer array, none of which the Boom 2 offers in the same form (the Boom 2 is stereo only for its tweeters, with a single midrange driver).
Everything else matches: both hit 47Hz bass extension at -10dB, run 80W output, offer 24-hour battery life with USB-A power bank output, and use Bluetooth 5.3.
Buy the Soundcore Boom 2 for the better out-of-the-box value and the deeper water resistance, especially once you apply a correction EQ.
Buy the W-King T9 only if you specifically want its true stereo layout, aux input, or MicroSD playback and can tolerate the harsher upper-mid tuning.

Pros: Pretty deep bass for the size. Cool lights in the side passive radiators. For the best sound quality use Oluv’s EQ or Alan Ross’s EQ. With the stock tuning, this speaker would rank around #24, due to the boosted bass and rising treble. Measured bass extension of 47Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Only a single midrange driver, so you only get stereo for the tweeters. Sound processing issues with inconsistent bass notes that disappear at low levels like the Soundcore Boom and Soundcore Boost, not great for listening at low levels. Quite bass heavy with BassUp turned on, which is best left off. A little bit of a bright tuning in the treble, about +5db.
