Short answer: the Motion X600 if you update the firmware, the Boom 2 for deeper stock bass. Firmware 4.2.9 is a big improvement in sound quality over previous releases, though the X600’s stock frequency response is wavy. The Boom 2 has pretty deep bass for the size, but a single midrange driver means stereo only comes from the tweeters.
Buy the Soundcore Boom 2. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Soundcore Motion X600 and costs less, which makes it the one to get unless you need something the other one does better.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Soundcore Boom 2 is rated for 24 hours, the Soundcore Motion X600 only 12 hours.

Older model: the Soundcore Motion Boom (ranked lower, rated 4.5/5).
Pros: Pretty deep bass for the size. Cool lights in the side passive radiators. For the best sound quality use Oluv’s EQ or Alan Ross’s EQ. With the stock tuning, this speaker would rank around #24, due to the boosted bass and rising treble. Measured bass extension of 47Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Only a single midrange driver, so you only get stereo for the tweeters. Sound processing issues with inconsistent bass notes that disappear at low levels like the Soundcore Boom and Soundcore Boost, not great for listening at low levels. Quite bass heavy with BassUp turned on, which is best left off. A little bit of a bright tuning in the treble, about +5db.

Pros: Firmware 4.2.9 is a big improvement in sound quality over previous releases. Try this Oluv EQ for the best sound quality. Measured bass extension of 52Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Stock frequency response is wavy. Use spatial mode for best sound quality. Need a different EQ for each volume step. Dip in the upper bass around 120Hz. Rising frequency response, treble a little hot. Would be ranked around #20 without the Oluv EQ. Even with the Oluv EQ the bass isn’t very deep and the sound is still a little unnatural.
