Short answer: the Soundcore Motion+ for sound, the Raymate M8 for features. The Motion+ was the previous best sounding in its class and remains a great speaker with separate tweeters, though it is not quite as neutral or detailed as the Uboom L. The M8 counters with 60W output, IPX7 waterproofing, 15-hour battery life, a power bank, TWS pairing and a dynamic LED light show, but it sounds slightly muffled. The Soundcore Motion+ is discontinued; its replacement is the Soundcore Motion 300.
One note: the Raymate M8 is discontinued and no longer widely available new.
Buy the Raymate M8 ($80) for a large speaker; the Soundcore Motion+ ($79.99) suits a medium speaker instead.
