Short answer: the Minirig 4, if you are buying new. The Soundcore Motion+ ranks higher than it (#3 vs #6 of 142 medium speakers, 4.4/5 vs 4.3/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Minirig 4 is still sold new at $229.95.
Minirig 4 is modular, with an optional subwoofer attachment and orientation-aware sound over USB-C charging, though it’s only rated splash resistant rather than carrying an official IP rating, and our notes flag it as having more reported reliability issues than any other speaker on this site.
Motion+ pairs separate tweeters with bigger woofers for more bass at full volume and better off-axis treble per our notes, but Soundcore has discontinued it and it needs a community EQ profile to sound its best.
Buy the Minirig 4 if you want a currently-sold speaker with a modular subwoofer option and can live with its known reliability complaints. Buy the Motion+ only if you find old stock cheap and are willing to install a community EQ.
There is a real battery-life gap here: the Minirig 4 is rated for 30 hours, the Soundcore Motion+ only 12 hours.
If water resistance matters to you, the Soundcore Motion+ at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the Minirig 4 at Splash resistant (splashing).

Soundcore Motion+: $79.99 used, Discontinued Amazon eBay
Pros: The previous best sounding in class, still a great speaker with separate tweeters, more bass at full volume and better off-axis treble frequency response than the Uboom L. Just okay with the default EQ, I highly recommend using this EQ setting from r/kai7895 to get it more neutral. To achieve the absolute best sound you’ll need the Wavelet app (Android only) and set the provided Wavelet EQ in there too. Turn off the wavelet EQ for outdoor use. An alternative is Oluv’s EQ which only needs the Soundcore app EQ. Measured bass extension of 54Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Not quite as neutral or detailed as the Uboom L. Without the above EQ, this speaker will rank around #25 in the rankings. Discontinued.
