Short answer: the LG Xboom Grab, if you are buying new. The Minirig 3 ranks higher than it (#8 vs #104 of 164 medium speakers, 4.3/5 vs 3.0/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the LG Xboom Grab is still sold new at $104.99.
The Minirig 3 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass choice. Modular, can easily attach a subwoofer. Its bass reaches about 53Hz before falling 10dB, against 75Hz for the LG Xboom Grab. It is rated for 30 hours of battery against 20 for the LG Xboom Grab. It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the LG Xboom Grab lacks. The tradeoff: Calls itself splash resistant and has no official water rating.
The LG Xboom Grab is the tougher option. 20 hour battery life: longer than the JBL Flip 7 or UE Boom 4. It is rated IP67 against Splash resistant for the Minirig 3. Watch for: Bass extension not as deep as the top speakers.
Buy the LG Xboom Grab new; the Minirig 3 is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.
