The Rockster 2 outranks the Bromley 750 and adds a built-in 2-channel DJ mixer and a DMX port for lighting control - real PA-rig features the Bromley 750 doesn’t have, on top of a higher 440W rating against the Bromley 750’s 400W. It’s also nearly double the weight at 43.79 kg (96.5 lbs) against 23.9 kg (52.7 lbs).
The Bromley 750 wins clearly on battery life. 40-plus hours against the Rockster 2’s 15 - the Rockster 2 is the shorter-running speaker despite being the pricier, heavier one. The Bromley 750’s true stereo driver layout and even, all-around dispersion are also genuine strengths, even if its own notes flag its bass and overall frequency response as unremarkable.
Both take real XLR-level input for microphones and instruments, and both are wheeled, mains-optional party speakers rather than something you carry far.
Buy the Rockster 2 for the higher-ranked sound and built-in mixer if you’re running an actual event. Buy the Bromley 750 if all-day battery life matters more than outright polish.

Marshall Bromley 750: $1299.99 Amazon
Pros: Much wider, more consistent off-axis dispersion than the JBL Partybox 720, which only fires forward - the Marshall’s standout feature, sounding about the same from any angle.
Cons: Not as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 330 or JBL Partybox 720. Not a great frequency response overall, with some midrange peaks. Only basic bass/treble controls, no full custom EQ like the JBL Partybox 720’s app. Default bass (dynamic mode) is overdone out of the box and needs trimming.

Teufel Rockster 2: $1,269.94
Pros: Sounds better and more evenly tuned than the JBL Partybox 720. Horn-loaded tweeter gives far more consistent off-axis sound, unlike the Partybox 720’s dual tweeters, which suffer from comb-filtering interference. Gets louder without distorting - the Partybox 720 starts breaking up at high volume well before this does. Projects clearly over long outdoor distances, covering a large area evenly.
Cons: Not quite as deep bass as the JBL Partybox 720. Bass output drops off further at high volume.
