Short answer: the Revel Concerta2 F35 for a modern waveguide design, the Klipsch Forte IV for a heritage three-way. The F35 is a two-and-a-half-way, four-driver design with a 1” aluminum dome tweeter on a waveguide and a 5.25” mid-range, but its F3 of 61Hz and F10 of 39Hz mean a subwoofer is needed. The Forte IV mates a 1” titanium tweeter and 1.75” compression driver to a 12” woofer, and it is not the forward, bright Klipsch of reputation.
Buy the Revel Concerta2 F35. It is rated higher for sound quality than the Klipsch Forte IV and costs less, which makes it the one to get unless you need something the other one does better.
