Short answer: the JBL Studio 590, though neither ranks well in its class. It ranks #69 of 73 floorstanding speakers by sound quality, rated 2.8/5, at $2,000. The Triangle Esprit Antal Ez ranks #70, rated 2.5/5, at $1,799, $201 cheaper, not enough of a saving to outweigh the sound-quality gap. Both are rated below 3.0/5 among the 73 floorstanding speakers; for better sound, the Revel Concerta2 F35 ranks #19 at $900.
The case for the JBL Studio 590: Pretty deep bass. The tradeoff: 3dB peak at 1.7kHz, about a 4dB peak from 8k to 13k, going to be bright up top.
What the Triangle Esprit Antal Ez does well: Predicted in-room response sums rather nicely aside from the resonance and bass issues. The tradeoff: Resonance around 260Hz and a number of other resonances show up on-axis, along with a dip in bass response.
One note: the JBL Studio 590 is discontinued and no longer widely available new.
Buy the JBL Studio 590. It is rated higher for sound quality, and saving $201 with the Triangle Esprit Antal Ez does not make up for the sound-quality gap.

Newer model: the JBL Studio 698, ranked higher, rated 4.3/5.
Pros: Pretty deep bass. CEA2034 spinorama is flat on-axis at a high level, with high sensitivity around 89-90dB. Predicted in-room response is good aside from a dip between 800Hz-1.5kHz. Distortion at 86dB SPL/1m is good outside of the 8.5kHz resonance. Measured bass extension of 48Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 90.3dB.
Cons: 3dB peak at 1.7kHz, about a 4dB peak from 8k to 13k, going to be bright up top. Just okay vertical off axis. Really bad resonance at 8.5kHz, which shows up as a sharp distortion spike at both 86dB and 96dB SPL/1m. Cumulative spectral decay (waterfall) reveals many fine resonances across the midrange and treble. At 96dB SPL/1m the midrange and treble get notably messier, with broad distortion elevation from 2-8kHz. Discontinued.

Triangle Esprit Antal Ez: $1799 per pair Discontinued eBay
Pros: Predicted in-room response sums rather nicely aside from the resonance and bass issues. Horizontal beamwidth of about ±50 degrees is reasonably controlled. Measured bass extension of 85Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 90.7dB.
Cons: Resonance around 260Hz and a number of other resonances show up on-axis, along with a dip in bass response. Two distinct distortion sources (one around 250-300Hz, another around 3-4kHz) already cross the reviewer’s audibility threshold even at moderate output, and get much worse at 96dB SPL/1m, where distortion broadly exceeds 50% relative level across large parts of the spectrum. Directivity is not great overall. The reviewer does not recommend it. Discontinued.
