JBL Partybox Stage 320 vs JBL Partybox Encore 2

A rolling party speaker against a compact karaoke speaker. The Stage 320 is 16.5 kg with wheels, two 6.5 inch woofers and 240W. The Encore 2 is a 6.4 kg boombox with one 5.25 inch woofer and 100W, and it includes two wireless microphones. Each is rated within its own class.

The Stage 320 is for bigger rooms and yards. It keeps more bass at high volume than the PartyBox 310, and has guitar and mic inputs and a claimed 18 hours from a removable battery.

The Encore 2 is the karaoke value. Its dome tweeters and less boomy balance improve on the first Encore, it measured about 110dB, and it has a 7-band app EQ and a claimed 15 hours from a removable battery. It lacks some upper bass punch and cannot match the scale of the larger PartyBoxes.

Both are IPX4 with Auracast, lights and USB playback.

Pros: The Encore 2 improves the original with dome tweeters, a less boomy balance, slightly deeper bass, longer battery life and two included wireless microphones. Its compact karaoke-ready design and 7-band EQ make it more adaptable indoors than the earlier Encore.

Cons: It still lacks some upper-bass punch and cannot match the scale of the larger PartyBoxes. The main value is compact karaoke convenience rather than full-range party output.
