The Raymate R5 packs 20W output, IPX7, 16-hour battery life, TWS stereo pairing, dual drivers with a passive radiator and USB-C charging into 2 lbs (900 g), but it has not much bass and peaky upper mids.
Buy the JBL Flip 7. It is rated higher for sound quality and still sold new, while the Raymate R5 is discontinued.

Pros: A very neutral speaker, very small, almost pocket size. Just slightly more treble than the Flip 6 which was already a great speaker. Slightly deeper bass than the Flip 6. IP68 protection, a 7-band app EQ, Auracast and a USB-C digital audio input. Measured bass extension of 59Hz (-10dB).
Cons: A little bit of a bump at 4kHz, not quite as neutral as the Flip 6. On balance it is the slightly worse of the two.

Raymate R5: $20 Discontinued Amazon eBay
Pros: A light 900g portable speaker with 20W output, IPX7 water resistance, USB-C charging, aux input, speakerphone capability and TWS stereo pairing. Its dual drivers and passive radiator make it a practical grab-and-go choice when durability and features matter more than very deep bass.
Cons: Listening impressions identify limited bass weight and a peaky upper-midrange, which can make vocals and guitars sound forward rather than smooth. There is no app or EQ to tailor that balance, and the claimed 16-hour battery figure will vary substantially with volume. Discontinued.
