Short answer: the JBL Partybox 110. It ranks #7 of 44 party speakers at $299.95; the Electro-Voice Everse 12 ranks #9 and costs $1099, so there is not much of a tradeoff to weigh.
On the Electro-Voice Everse 12 side: Good midrange and treble. The catch: Not stereo.
The case for the JBL Partybox 110: Very neutral sound, slightly better than the Partybox 100. Set against that: Bass isn’t as deep as the Partybox 100. Just as loud and slightly deeper than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound.
Buy the Electro-Voice Everse 12 if the price matters more than the ranking. Buy the JBL Partybox 110 if the ranking matters more than the price.

Pros: Very neutral sound, slightly better than the Partybox 100.
Cons: Bass isn’t as deep as the Partybox 100. Just as loud and slightly deeper than a Stormbox Blast which is way smaller with better sound. Increase treble one step in the app to make it more neutral. Note, JBL daisychain is not compatible with any other non-JBL speaker and is possibly a fully digital signal.
