It sounds very balanced, but it is not stereo, the app and wireless TWS pairing are buggy, it is two pieces with no handle, and it carries no official water rating despite splash-resistant claims, plus flagged reliability issues. The DALI Katch G2 is pretty neutral but loses bass after 40% volume.
The Minirig 3 with subwoofer is the better-sounding option. A compact speaker and subwoofer pairing with very balanced sound, 30-hour battery life and 103dB maximum SPL. It has an adjustable EQ, which the DALI Katch G2 lacks. The catch: Not stereo, app is buggy.
Buy the Minirig 4 with subwoofer, the replacement for the discontinued Minirig 3 with subwoofer; it is rated higher for sound quality than the DALI Katch G2.
If water resistance matters to you, the DALI Katch G2 at IPX7 (brief submersion) holds up far better than the Minirig 3 with subwoofer at Splash resistant (splashing).
