USB-C, auxiliary input, Bluetooth and included angled stands make it easy to integrate into a small desk setup. LDAC Bluetooth support and illuminated touch controls round out the features. Measured bass extension of 67Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 87.5dB.
Cons: The on-axis response rises by about 0.57dB per octave, so the tonal balance becomes brighter toward the treble. Measured -3dB bass extension is about 70Hz; it cannot reproduce deep bass at full level. Sitting below the tweeter axis worsens the crossover-region response. Limiting and compression constrain louder playback, so use it nearfield rather than expecting room-filling output.

Pros: Erin’s measurements show little overall tilt across the listening window, helping voices retain a broadly natural balance at a desk. Scores of 3.91 standalone and 6.53 with an ideal subwoofer support it as a useful budget nearfield option rather than a reference monitor. Tone controls and app-based EQ provide unusually flexible adjustment, and its bass extends farther than the Fostex PM03’s. Measured bass extension of 70Hz (-3dB), with a measured sensitivity of 83.3dB.
Cons: Local response ripples remain: the measured 300Hz-5kHz span is 4.5dB and listening-window narrow-band deviation is 0.538. Bass reaches -3dB at about 70Hz. The limiter protects the drivers but prevents much extra loudness when pushed; existing compression testing puts effective single-speaker output around 86-87dB at 1m. Vertical crossover interference makes tweeter height and tilt important.

It connects to nearly anything: balanced XLR and TRS, RCA and 3.5mm aux inputs, Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC and multipoint, plus a front headphone output. Rear high and low shelving knobs and the ConneX app’s room compensation settings help tune it for desk or wall placement. Measured bass extension of 60Hz (-3dB).
Cons: The response is uneven, with a broad upper-bass bump around 120 to 150Hz, a presence dip of roughly 3dB around 2 to 3kHz and brighter treble above it (listening-window tilt +0.22dB per octave), which holds its preference score to about 3.9 on its own and 6.1 with an ideal subwoofer. Vertical lobing means the tweeter should be aimed at ear height. Pros: A large self-powered three-way pair with digital and analog source switching and proper left/right separation. Consumer Reports found accurate, detailed sound with strong, deep bass, a broad enough soundfield and enough clean output for a large room. It is a compelling simple system for TV, desktop or living-room music without buying a separate amplifier.
Cons: The big cabinets need real stand or furniture space, and their bass is slightly boomy. Consumer Reports also hears mildly grainy/hazy mids, subdued treble and a two-dimensional image despite the two cabinets. As an integrated system it is less upgradeable than separate passive speakers and an amplifier.

Pros: A bi-amped two-way pair with a 4” long-throw aluminum mid-bass driver and a 1” silk dome tweeter per side, driven by 100W RMS in total (35W to each woofer, 15W to each tweeter). The most connected Edifier desktop pair yet: HDMI eARC with TV remote control over CEC, optical, USB-C, aux and Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC, plus a subwoofer output for a 2.1 setup. Three sound presets on the included 2.4GHz remote and custom EQ in the Edifier ConneX app. Edifier rates the response down to 50Hz, against 55Hz for the smaller M60.
Cons: No independent anechoic or Spinorama measurements have been published yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. The only measurement so far is an in-room reading at the listening position (Pragmatic Audio), which showed bass reaching about 50 to 60Hz with a DSP limiter controlling the roll-off. A 4” woofer still needs a subwoofer for deep bass. It costs close to twice as much as the M60, and TechRadar found its output falls short of some rivals at the price.

Pros: Horn-loaded 107mm planar magnetic tweeters and 6.5” aluminum mid/bass drivers, driven by 256W RMS total. The two speakers link wirelessly, and inputs cover balanced XLR, optical, coaxial, USB, RCA line and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD. Edifier rates it at 38Hz to 40kHz with Hi-Res Audio certification up to 24bit/192kHz on the digital inputs.
Cons: No independent measurements yet, so its tonal balance and directivity can’t be compared with ranked speakers. It has no subwoofer output, HDMI input or app EQ.
