#18 Denon AH-D2000: $349 Discontinued eBay
Pros: A closed back over-ear with a very high preference score of 91 and a midrange within about 1 dB of target. At 25 ohms and 106 dB/mW it is easy to drive from a phone, and it weighs 350 g.
Cons: Sub bass rolls off, falling 6 dB below target at 27 Hz, and dips of 8.5 dB near 10.3 kHz and 6.9 dB near 8.6 kHz dull the top treble. It is long discontinued after launching at $349, and the score rests on a single measurement.

Frequency Response
How the Denon AH-D2000 measures across the audible range, against the Harman over-ear target that most listeners prefer in blind tests. Where the line sits above the target that range sounds louder (more bass, brighter treble), below it quieter. The curve is a single measurement, and both lines are shifted so their 500 Hz to 2 kHz average sits at 0 dB.
