Important trade-offs. The 5.49 ideal-subwoofer preference score is only mid-pack, with meaningful response/directivity irregularity in the supplied data. It lacks app control and Bluetooth audio, and newer competitors offer more user-adjustable DSP. Measured bass extension is about 79Hz despite the much deeper manufacturer response claim, so a subwoofer is advisable for full-range music. Controls are limited to presets and filters rather than the app-based mixing and remote DSP found on newer competitors.
Buy the Yamaha DXR12mkII when its stated format, coverage, and system features fit the job better.
