What the W-King D320 does well: An affordable waterproof travel speaker with loud, punchy bass, long battery life, an aux input, microSD playback and app EQ. It keeps a wired aux input, which the Huawei Sound Joy lacks. Watch for: A single D320 is not stereo, and its warm balance trades away some detail and upper-treble air.
The Huawei Sound Joy is the lighter option. A waterproof speaker with a separate tweeter, long battery life and good loudness, with a Devialet mode for its best sound. At 1.5 lbs (680 g) it weighs much less than the W-King D320 at 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg). The tradeoff: Boosted treble, not quite as deep of bass as a JBL Charge 5.
Buy the W-King D320 new; the Huawei Sound Joy is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.
