The Soundcore Motion 300 is the better-sounding, deeper-bass option. A compact stereo speaker with deep bass for its size, hi res Bluetooth and a custom EQ for each position, standing or lying down. Its bass reaches about 50Hz before falling 10dB, against 56Hz for the Huawei Sound Joy. It supports LDAC Bluetooth, which the Huawei Sound Joy lacks. It plays in stereo from a single unit, unlike the Huawei Sound Joy. Watch for: Without the above EQ or turning the top 2 treble EQ bars to max, this speaker is very rolled off in the treble and will rank around #50 in the rankings.
The Huawei Sound Joy is the longer-running option. A waterproof speaker with a separate tweeter, long battery life and good loudness, with a Devialet mode for its best sound. It is rated for 26 hours of battery against 13 for the Soundcore Motion 300. Watch for: Boosted treble, not quite as deep of bass as a JBL Charge 5.
Buy the Soundcore Motion 300. It is rated higher for sound quality; the Huawei Sound Joy is no longer sold new.
