Short answer: the Klipsch Groove, if you are buying new. The Tribit Stormbox Pro ranks higher than it (#44 vs #105 of 157 medium speakers, 3.7/5 vs 2.8/5) but is discontinued, so only consider it used; the Klipsch Groove is still sold new at $9.
The Tribit Stormbox Pro is the better-sounding, longer-running option. 24 hour battery life (60% volume, XBass off); doubles as a power bank. It is rated for 24 hours of battery against 8 for the Klipsch Groove. It is rated IPX7 against IPX4 for the Klipsch Groove. It supports aptX Bluetooth, which the Klipsch Groove lacks. Watch for: Bottom woofer was fixed in a later firmware, upgrade for best sound.
The Klipsch Groove is the lighter choice. Pretty balanced sound in a compact, splash-resistant form factor. At 1.7 lbs (770 g) it weighs noticeably less than the Tribit Stormbox Pro at 2.2 lbs (980 g). The tradeoff: Bass doesn’t go as deep as class leaders.
Buy the Klipsch Groove if you want one new; the Tribit Stormbox Pro is discontinued, so only look for it used.
