The Pulse 5 has a cool light show, though it is not synced to the music like the Pulse 2, and its bass is not quite as deep as others. The Stormbox Pro runs 24 hours at 60% volume with XBass off and doubles as a power bank, but its bottom woofer was fixed in a later firmware, so upgrade for the best sound.
Buy the JBL Pulse 5 new; the Tribit Stormbox Pro is no longer sold new, so it only makes sense as a used find.

Newer model: the Tribit Stormbox Max. It’s likely to perform similarly, though we can’t confirm that yet.
Pros: 24 hour battery life (60% volume, XBass off); doubles as a power bank. IP67 rated. Multi-point Bluetooth 5.3 pairing. Measured bass extension of 58Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bottom woofer was fixed in a later firmware, upgrade for best sound. Peaky mids, highs rolled off. Not technically a 360 speaker, only front and rear. Discontinued; Tribit has retired it.

A cool light show, though it is not synced to the music like the Pulse 2. Measured bass extension of ~58Hz (-10dB).
Cons: Bass is limited by its ~58Hz specification. Bass does not reach as deep as others, and the plastic scratches easily.
